We shipped two motorbikes by airfreight from Ulaanbaatar to Vancouver. We had contact with the agent by e-mail a few weeks before we arrived in Mongolia and the correspondence was very friendly and replies always quick. At the time we arrived in Ulaanbaatar I called the agent and a few hours later he came to see us to discuss the details of the shipment.

This was the offer we received:

Price per kg for airfreight: USD 6.80

Delivery from guesthouse to airport: USD 50.00

Airport tax: USD 0,06/kg

Customs clearance: USD 35.00

Fee for airwaybill: USD 10.00

The crating was done at Oasis (for EUR 220 per box). The agent picked up the boxes and organized the freight with Korean Air. It took about 4 days from the day the bikes were picked up in UB until they arrived in Vancouver. Picking the bikes up from the customs warehouse in Vancouver was very easy as well. I believe we were lucky and the customs procedure took only a few minutes! No questions about dirt, insurance, etc.

All in all we were very satisfied with this agent. The contact was always professional and quick in response. We can recommend this company.
