I should be in Bishkek around the end of the month/early September... looking for a place to stay a few days and hopefully to store my bike (bicycle) a few weeks while I buy/ride a horse (still working on the plan for this).
Does Memo have an email contact? If I can't get a horse, I could hire a bike
Wesley - if we're in town around the same time, wouldn't mind meeting up for coffee/ to talk bikes (and any other bull you like) - got my eye on a DRZ400 for a future trip...

Reason: email addresses in forums attract spam. spam makes people change their addresses.

I don't think Memo is inmate here and I don't know if he is in Bishkek now.
I think gps coordinates may not be as accurate (I remember someone saying they were not).
To find his house, just go straight on Manas going north, you will have a turn right and left at one point: you will be almost arrived
Then there is a left turn you should take if I remember correctly
His house is in the short offroad section in the city center:-)
PS: just checked on google maps, should be here

I found it...or rather the navtel cheap satnav app did.
Memo is in Italy at the moment and as it is out of season I'm the only guest. A great guesthouse with everything needed being provided and much more. They now have a second guesthouse too further out in Kapakoa. The rental bikes will be going out there and five newer bikes with electric starts are planned for bishkek.

Enjoy your time in Bishkek and say hello to Chinara (if she is there) from Cristiano.
I will be there at the end of July...

To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
