In October I flew my bike from Panama City to Bogota with Girag. They are located at the air freight terminal at the international airport in Tocumen. $501, no surprises. Didn't have to crate the bike, but did have to drain fuel and disconnect battery. Don't know what bike you have, but you need to ride down a set of stairs to get out of their warehouse in Bogota. There is a fuel station one km away. I flew Avianca for $260.

Since I asked the original question, I thought I should finish the thread off with my experience. It is posted on the Shipping Reports site. Thanks to AndyT and Rick because with their details it was less stressful and actually easy.

Actually, I remember another thread where someone actually gave contact info for a guy sailing out of Panama.

Also, I heard that Smellybiker (who is Happy Hacker here I think?) had a bad experience shipping from Cartagena to Panama. Wouldn't anyone who goes one way go the other.

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
