Registration fee includes admission to all presentations, demonstrations, discussion groups, tech clinics, parking and self-guided rides. (There is a venue fee if you aren't staying on premises)

NOTE: Never go away hungry - seconds are okay!

We strongly recommend pre-booking meals (see below). There MAY be individual meals available at the event, but very few, they will be more expensive, and there are NO nearby restaurants. You can, of course, cook for yourself. There will be vegetarian alternatives, so let us know your preferences when you register.

All Meal and Accommodation prices INCLUDE ALL TAXES. The price you see is the total.

Tuesday Dinner - Sweet and sour chicken, fried rice, vegetables, dinner roll, dessert, tea, coffee, milk or juice
Wednesday Breakfast - Pancakes & sausages, cold cereal, tea, coffee, milk, juice, jam, peanut butter, cheese
Wednesday Lunch - Hamburgers & French fries, tea, coffee, milk or juice

Wednesday Dinner - Stuffed chicken breast, choice of potato (mashed, scalloped, french fries, or baked), vegetables

Thursday Breakfast - Bacon & eggs (boiled, fried or scrambled), toast, cold cereal, tea, coffee, milk, juice, jam, peanut butter, cheese
Thursday Lunch - Chicken Wrap & Chicken Noodle Soup, tea, coffee, milk or juice
Thursday Dinner - Roast beef dinner, mashed potato, turnip, carrot and pastry, gravy
Friday Breakfast - French Toast, bacon or sausage, cold cereal, tea, coffee, milk, juice, jam, peanut butter, cheese

Accommodation:

Food is NOT included in accommodation options.

NOTE: There are NO hookups for RV's etc of ANY kind. If you're self-contained there IS parking.
You CANNOT arrive before Tuesday 2pm, and must leave by approximately noon Friday.

Bunk options - all per PERSON, all rooms are shared

  • There are several male and female wings, all are in the one main building.
  • Each wing has up to 6 rooms, with at least one shared full bathroom.
  • Rooms have multiple bunks per room.
  • We only use the bottom bunk, so the top bunk is great storage for your gear.

Join the Volunteer Crew


From welcoming travellers at the gate, to taking care of the campsite and making sure all the presentations run smoothly, the success of every HU event relies on the enthusiasm of its volunteer crew. Volunteering only involves a few hours of your time. It's a great way to make new friends, get more involved with Horizons Unlimited and have loads of fun!

If you have a current first-aid qualification, or if you're a practising Doctor, Nurse or Paramedic, would you mind being on call for two or three 4-hour shifts to deal with any (minor) medical emergencies? Please join the Volunteers crew.

We send out an event Presenters schedule approximately two weeks before the event to the volunteers along with a Volunteer schedule. You see the schedule before everyone else does! You can then feed back any changes you need so you get to the seminars you want to see - we don't want you to miss anything!
