1x LR Series IIA, 4x Trans-Africa trips!
 

Fifteen years after its first Trans-Africa trip, this Land Rover Series IIA has reappeared in South Africa.

A lot can be said for purchasing a vehicle that is already prepped for overland travel and somehow the perceived 'experience by the vehicle' manages to keep many vehicles doing overland adventures...
In this case a 1971 Land Rover Series IIA which has already completed four trans-Africa trips!

It was lost spotted in Cairo in 2006 and somehow managed to get back to South Africa. The return journey (probably its 5th) is undocumented but someone must have driven or shipped it back.
