LR Mechanic in Yaounde, Cameroon?
 

Hello all,

After a rather bruising 2 days on the road from Ekok to Mamfe covering only 60kms, we have a variety of leaks and noises that are well out of my capability. Does anyone know of a good mechanic in Yaounde? The main problem is oil leaking from the front axle hub - any advice greatfully appreciated.

From where exactly the oil is leaking? If it is not the grease/oil from swivel pin housing then likely there is failed oil seal inside stub axle, so oil from axle differential will get into the hub when off road at side angle. I guess if you want to fix it properly you need to replace the oil seal. I'm not an expert, though. :cool4:
