I work very closely with the Humanitarian Aid sector, here in the UK (my speciality is satellite mapping). Through UNHCR (the refugee support channel) I was made aware of this document, which I have hosted.

It is quite basic, but also very good for training up 2nd drivers or those without a long term interest in off-roading. It seems more accessible than the likes of Sheppard to me. I hope it is useful, and has not been posted a million times before (I am a biker, so it's not much good to me!).
