Sorry.. i forgot to mention that

Patrol ... 1984....GR 2.8T....194.000 km...diesel

Trooper...1989....2.8 TD.....258.000 km...diesel..(is 3,000 $ cheaper)

both are 3-door

My two cents:
Patrol in OZ outback tend to brake in half - apparently design fault with chassis, which of course isn't an issue unless you're travelling on corrugated roads quite a bit.
