Trip report - just popped down the road
This last week we headed out to some of the lesser populated areas of Aragón with the car, because no two bikes were in a suitable state.
We took the Clio to it's off-road limits by visiting Tozales de los Pedregales, covering about 60km on unpaved roads through to tracks where one of us had to spot in order to not turtle the car (and had to turn around a few times when we hit our limit). We only met one other person out there, broke a coil off of one of the front springs, got the car full of dust, but had no major dramas :) This has got my other half addicted to the desert (she was highly skeptical beforehand) and we'll be returning with trail bikes to do some proper distance off road in the future ... there's a reason lots of people say it's like Arizona only smaller! https://i.imgur.com/twx0gal.jpg https://i.imgur.com/mh0r9Ck.jpg https://i.imgur.com/FwJdQBx.jpg https://i.imgur.com/QC81uBI.jpg |
Thanks for taking the time to post, it was to be on my destination last year damn COVID.!
Hopefully I'll get there in 2022 with the Landrover. cheers Gren |

If you want something more challenging then going up towards the Pyrinees would be the thing (or come over to Catalunya, there's a reason there's a big overlanding garage in the village at the bottom of my mountain, lol) |
