You can use your bike for up to a maximum of one year on an overseas registration. I am only guessing but the expired carnet will only be an issue if you try to get it out and into another country.

il have a check but you think that if im heading home from there to the uk i should not have any problems??
and thanks:mchappy: <=me soon i hope! |
Expired carnet = problem.
Don't use the carnet, just import the bike. You pay the GST on the current value. When you want to leave you get a new carnet from the NZAA. |
extend it
I extended my UK issued carnet for another year after the first ran out whilst on the road - emailed the RAC & they sent it out to me in Thailand.
I reckon you'll be able to sort something out. |
