Anyone keen on an August ride out west?
 

G'day, I've got a few weeks off in August, I live in Central Queensland, & am contemplating maybe taking a ride over to Cameron's Corner.
Anyone half interested?
I'd like to do Poeppel's Peg as well, but in either case I've some research & permits etc to work out.
A bit unsure about doing the trip solo, might have to drink wet cement & harden up...

If your going through Tharga, Bulloo, corner i'll consider it, but i'll cut back into NSW and head home from there through Bourke due to to time constraints.
There's a bit of sand out there, i want to go again.:mchappy:

On the 24th of August I (with about 4 others) will be going on a 2 week ride with support car out west starting at Collie, st. george, birdsville, poepel corner, and camerons corner and back home. Could this work for you?

Thanks very much for offering, but I've set a route & date, for leaving Gladstone on 21st August, heading out to Cameron's Corner, then down through Tibooburra, eventually to make it to a rally near Wombeyan Caves, the TTT.

On arrival at Thargomindah, I was planning on heading to the corner via Noccundra, Naryilco, Omicron.
If you're still half keen to go to the corner via Bulloo, I'll look at changing my plans to suit.
