Lake Eyre filling
 

A not so rare occurrence now, is happening in South Australia as Lake Eyre fills after heavier than usual Monsoon rains in Western Queensland earlier this year.
If you happen to be in SA its probably worth the effort to go there and see how the place comes alive with birds, fish and tourists.

Its a sight to behold. I have seen it both dry and full and also had the opportunity to fly at low lever over it when full. The bird life is amazing.

I cant work out how the pelicans get there.
