Temporary Motorcycle Insurance on Carnet CPD
 
Hi to All
we are planning to ship our motorcycle to Australia and start a 30days trip,
i need some information about from where i can purchase a temporary insurance for one month.
our trip will start from Perth up to Brisbane.

It was a few years ago I was there so if I am out of date I hope someone will correct me but any temporarily imported vehicle into Western Australia has to go to the nearest Department of Transport office for inspection, a bit like a UK MOT test and then you pay a registration fee which is the same as the locals pay and this includes basic third party insurance which will make you legal on the road.
If you want a higher level of cover than that it has to be arranged with another insurance provider.

Try with Swann Insurance. They offer insurance to international drivers.

Swann told me today " Swann Insurance does not offer insurance coverage for imported motorcycles."
