UK registered bike..
 

I have just dropped my bike off to be shipped off to Australia, have asked before with no luck but will try again. Can anyone point me in the right direction to get a UK registered bike insurance to ride through Australia, is it possible? Thinking it must be as there seems to be a lot of foreign riders claiming to have done it.

It was sometime ago when I shipped mine there and I believe it varies from state to state but in Western Australia I had to take it for an inspection which was very similar to an MOT test, they checked that it was legal in the UK asking about tax, MOT and insurance then I had to pay the local registration fee which included basic third party insurance which made me legal on Australian roads.
