Looking for bike rental in NZ
 

Hi everyone,
Thinking of doing a tour in NZ in 2025 next year and also visit my elder step sister whom I haven't seen for many years.

Any members keen to rent their bike for 2 to 3 weeks? A 250cc motorcycle/scooter is sufficient. I don't do off road and at most gravel roads only.
Will take care of bike like my own.
I have done many fly and ride tours.

Just exploring the possibilities.

If you don't find a local to just lend you your bike, I can recommend https://motorent.nz. Rented from them on two occasions, once for a loop of the South Island out of Christchurch, once for a loop of Coromandel and the far north out of Auckland. Both were great experiences at surprisingly reasonable rates (even for global bike rental prices, nevermind NZ being an expensive country). One of the very few rental places I have seen that will rent you a full set of protective gear!
