2008 1200GS in Holland $1000

I took this bike over a few years ago and rode around for 5 summers, I haven't been over the last 2 summers. I have lost my free storage so I will make one last trip this august and get rid of it. It has about 65 to 70 k miles and will have maybe another 3 or 4 k when I leave. I changed oil every year I rode and trany and final drive every other year. Valves checked every year, new plugs and brakes. Sargent seat and BMW adventure boxes. The bad, the ball joint on the front suspension has a crack in the boot the ball joint seems fine, no play. I made sure there was plenty of grease and taped up the crack. I don't plan on changing it but I may when I inspect it when I get there. It also has the slight wear on the clutch plate and transmission spline. (not unusual for these bikes I am told) You only hear a slight rattle when in neutral and the clutch is out, pull in the clutch and it is gone, under way no noise. It has been this way for the last 30k miles. 2 different BMW mechanics said they have heard worse and would change the trany spline when I decided to put in a new clutch. I expect the tires will need replacing soon as well. And I will be ending my trip and flying back on the 4th of Sept. So would want to pass on the bike around the 2nd or 3rd. The bike is titled in Alaska and has current tags. If I get a few bucks out of it fine if not I will just walk away from it.
I have a picture but no idea how to post it here send me an email address and I will send it to you.

Hi,
I have an interesting proposal for you that may solve both of our problems with foreign travel on motorbikes. Send me your email by PM and I'll fill you in on the plan.:D
Mike
