Hi, I came on the forum because I am thinking of selling my XT660Z that took me down to Ghana and back in 2015 and has only been out of the garage a few times each year since then.
My trip was blogged at Africa by Motorcycle – Bloging my trip from Wales to Africa and there are loads of photos and info there.

Since the trip, the bike has been fully serviced and MOTd every year but only been ridden locally on a few day trips each year. It is in full working order and the speedo module that was water damaged in an African river was replaced when I got back by a new unit from Yamaha and new steering head bearings installed (the only other major problem I had on the trip).
