I purchased this lovely PD 24 years ago with no intentions of ever selling it and thus modified it to suit my ideal of looks and touring performance. This included a colour change and improved front forks from a later model BMW R100GS. This enabled the fitting of a four piston Brembo caliper. new rotor, and custom fork brace. The front headlamp was changed to a larger example requiring custom made instrumentation.

An Endurolast charging system was fitted to improve electrical performance and it has performed faultlessly. It also has a new clutch, push rod seals and too much else to list- a genuine reason for a very reluctant sale. With its 33 liter gas tank, it gets 500km between fill-ups making it a practical, and well proven adventure tourer. It has been meticulously maintained and currently shows 138,000km on the clock.
