HI Batmaz
you should contact Ed Xfiltrate. he is in Bueons Aires and is well switched on when it comes to selling and changing ownership etc. He's a good guy and always will to help. Look him up on the HUBB, he is from the sates originally |
Hey 5 Eyes!
How would I find Ed Xfiltrate? I've searched it but came up with nothing. Muchisimas Gracias! Kelv |
Xfiltrate here
Hi Kevination, xfiltrate here just do a search for all posts by xfiltrate.
I have about 340 posts on the HUBB. Ed is my name, but xfiltrate is my screen name on the HUBB. One of my threads has a sticky: South and Central America and Mexico ( region ) Buy new or used in Argentina and legally tour all of South America (thread) Or ask me questions right here, I have recently posted several replies to various threads regarding buying new or used in Argentina and Chile and attempted to deal with all aspects of foreign tourists purchasing or selling in Argentina. Hope I can help. xfiltrate |
Buying a US registered Bike
Ed
What is your opinion on an american buying a US registered bike in Argentina and traveling across borders with a notorized power of attorney from the seller as opposed to making a between-border title transfer? Thanks CCjon Thanks Quote:

Klr650
Baz, since I don't have 5 posts yet I can't send you a private email.
Is the KLR still available? Can't be there until mid-December at the earliest. Am a US resident/citizen of the Republic of Texas. Are you still planning on leaving SA by the end of November, or can we get together mid-month? Ask Ed how would be the best way for you to sell and then I arrive a few weeks later if you must leave by the end of Nov. Is that possible? Doable? How exactly? Thanks for looking into this. Hi
I am Australian and interested if the ownership can be transferred in a way that works for me to take the bike around Sth America. In Europe now and have not bought ticket to Sth America yet so can buy a ticket to location that is mutually acceptable. |
Hi Guys
Thanks for your replies. The bikes still available and I am gonna be in BA in about 2 weeks time. As for the change of ownership errr... I dunno how it works. The bike is US registered and it wouild be great if I could sell it to an American as it would be easy and legal otherwise I was hopeing you would tell me :) I am willing to arange whatever paperwork you think you will need. I will however sell the bike cheap enough that you could ride and dispose of it if you wanted. |
Hi Baz,
Did you get my emails? Still interested in the bike if it's still available. Kelv |
I am also interested in your bike and sent you PM about it!
