[BIKE WANTED IN GUATEMALA] [DRIVER LICENSE GUATEMALA]

Hello everyone!

First message here! I'm looking to buy my first bike for my very first adventure trip in Guatemala!

I would be arriving in the country near the 5th of March and I am looking to buy a bike there. I would need the bike for a 2-3 month trip and I am looking for something in the 2-3K USD range.
I am also open to something more expensive if it has a good resell potential. Obviously I would prefer US plates but also open to Guatemalian plates.

I am looking for anything beginner friendly (for instance: DR650, XR250, CRF250/300, XRE300) but I am generally open to any proposition!

Also, I am considering applying for a driver license in Guatemala, I've seen on the website of the US Embassy that in order to apply, you need to have a residency status. I am wondering if that's doable with the 90-day Residence Permit.
Does anyone has some knowledge / experience with obtaining a driving license in Guatemala?

90 day Residence permit Im not sure if I understand what that is, a tourist stamp ?
A residence visa with a foreigner temporary residence card would definitely get you a drivers licence but you would have to take a driving course
