2016 BMW R1200 GSA Coolant leaks
 

Got a question for the forum. I didn't find anything when searching for this in the archives.
Recently bought a 2016 R1200 GSA. After about 1000 miles I noticed a few drops of blue coolant on the garage floor. Dealer is replacing the water pump and hopefully that stops the leak. Just wondering though if others have had similar issues with either leaks or weeping of coolant out the WP weep hole.

Look at BMW forums and you'll find a lot about leaking waterpumps. I have exectly the same bike from 2016 but not that problem neither had on my GS 2015.
Often the pumps are changed on (garantee always), In 2016 this problem normally doesn't exist anymore.

Water pump changed under warranty. I'll see how it goes from here.

You will have lots of problems with BMW thats why the real travellers here ride Honda and Yamaha bikes :thumbup1:
