There has also been mention of Nippondenso being a good starter - more expensive but worth the money in some people's opinion as it created less load on the electrical system.

Hello all once again, sorry but I've been off the air for a while but just got back from a holiday in France, 45*C on Tuesday on the Dordogne, thank heavens we went by hire car, not surprisingly we saw very few bikes on the hottest days.

Back on topic... I've decided to just renew the brushes, about eight pounds from Motor Works for a set of four on the grounds that I'd feel a right pillock if it turned out that I'd got it wrong- spoiling the ship for a ha'porth of tar and so on.
