cd manuals
Hi
Which is the best cd repair manual to buy off ebay for my 98 GS1100,the R850R/R1100 cd or the R1150 GS cd ? Many Thanks ! |
I'd recommend rather book manuals.
Clymer and Haynes both make the manuals for R1100's, including GSes. It's much more comfortible to be in garage with manual bike aside with the book i think. But if you really want the digital one - UKGSer forum recently posted an genuine BMW repair manual for R1150GS that does differ only on minor ways from R1100GS: http://www.uk-bikers.com/gs-manuals/...air_Manual.pdf Good luck, Margus |
PS: the clutch replacement part is identical to 1100 model in that PDF manual!

Hello Margus
Yeah i have the Haynes and the Clymer, the latter being better but quite expensive,so i just thought it would be a good idea to have something on the computer i could print off.It would save ruining the Clymer with oily hands. I am reading the Clymer everytime i get a spare moment to familiarise with the parts and how to remove them before i start to attempt the clutch. I have attempted to download from that link before but nothing appears. I have ordered one of those cd's off ebay.It was only £5 so it's not too sad if the thing is useless. Cheers ! |
