Do F650 Heated Grips Differ from r1200gs H.g in performance
I have tryied r1200gs Heated grips and I must say that the warmth was realy good. Do the F650gs grips work the same well, does by any chance bmw use the same grips on those two bikes.

I am just about to replace my oem F650 grips with aftermarket Saito grips from "Busters". I've had the Saito's on my XJ900 through two winters now without any problems and they also have variable heating which the BMW don't have. They are made of harder rubber then the BMW which I prefer, considering the F650's grips soft rubber is almost worn off.

You dont have to change the heat system. You can just peal off the Rubber grip and replace it with any kind grip , you can visit www.f650.com they have pics how you do it. Hows the wormth comparing f650gs vs xj900

Saito are slightly warmer but more importantly the Saito have 3 heat selections so that when they get too hot you can turn them down a bit or down to the lowest setting which just takes the bite out of a early morning start.
