G650GS model 2013 with Anti-theft DWA 5.1 issues
 
Hi,
Need help. My G650GS is factory fitted with anti-theft DWA 5.1 system.
I switch ON the ignition, pre-ride check is performed as indicates from the multifunction display. Then I deactivate the anti-theft alarm and start the engine. It runs as normal but when I switch the indicator lights or press brakes lever the engine stop immediately. Tried few times like this and press the anti-theft alarm remote control buttons ( button 1 and 2). At one point, when I put the ignition key switch to ON, nothing appear on the multifuction display. Puzzle. Any advise is highly appreciated. Thanks.

Try changing the battery in the alarm control unit.
