Ignition cannisters - help
I'm stripping a spare ignition cannister I got off a burnt bike to use as a spare. Most of it is only scorched but I need to replace the Hall effect transistor. Although there are several descriptions on the web ("R100 Auto Advance Refurb") none of them address removal of the rotating shield in order to get to the transistor rivets. It seems to be held in with a second pin. BTW I'll be getting the replacement Hall effect switch from Jaycar (Jaycar Electronics, an Australian retailer of electronic components) under p/n HKZ-101 for A$19.95.
Does anyone out there have any more information? |
