New R1200GSA?

First picture I have seen. Looks like the bike might be based more on the HP2 then on the 1200GS, at least the telelever front has been dropped in favor of forks. I'm not sure one of these is in my immediate future, but the concept seems closer to something I'd buy then past versions. Link below:

Timo
Thats the kind of bike i was expecting to come!
I like naked simple and friendly bikes.I know,i know the engine will come with high tech computers and sensors, but it has an air of easyer service.
The japanese manufacturers had taken us a real choice in RTW bikes.ATwin is gone,Varadero.....nice but....TAlp the same.
Vstrom more on the same line.
KTM is a expensive and nice rally machine.
Hope this BMW is not another expensive toy for the good weather rider.
I remember when the first G/S came out was nothing impossible for the normal guy. This trend is sadly gone!
Thanks for your post.

Hi guys, When I first read the post I was disappointed that BMW might have succumbed to a "its on race bikes so it must be better" mentality but looking at the pic I think BMW have actually retained the telelever front end.

The photo is a con. Someone has manipulated a picture of an HP2. It has been talked about on ukgser for a week or so. LB.

Yes, I realized after going back and looking at the post a bit more clearly that it was a doctored photo of a HP2. Still, it is an interesting idea, although I have my doubts that the new Adventurer (when ever it might surface) will be based on the HP2 rather then the GS1200. In my view, such a bike would sell better for it.......what are your thoughts?
