pulling apart the rear calliper on BMW G650GS
 

Does anyone know how to disassemble the rear brake calliper from the mounting plate on a 2009 BMW G650GS single. There is a pin it pivots and slides on but I cant work out how to separate it.
The answer would really be appreciatd.

thanks for your help Lili-Butterfly. It turns out that it was siezed together, after a soak in WD40 it just came apart....all those river crossings didn't do it any good.
