R 1200 gsa GPS toggle
 

Hi guys
The gps toggle device on the left hand grip has stopped working correctly. I can still scroll but cannot use the side to side function. It was working fine the last time I had it out. Without being able to select this side to side function I can only use half the functions.
Anyone any ideas about this. I checked the wiring and all the connectors on the gps/mount, all seems fine. I don't really want to take it to a dealer and have to pay hundreds of dollar's for this if possible. Any help appreciated.

The toggle switches (like all the switches on new BMWs) are utter sh*t.

They break all the time. I swap at least one a week at work.

I've never known anyone to be able to fix one either.

Thanks for the reply. Any idea how much these things are or should I bring my own lube for the ass raping. Bikes just out of warranty an all.
