R1150GS skid plate
 

Does anyone have any information regarding aftermark crash bars and skid plate for the 1150gs.

Ive tried wunderlich crash bars they are easy
to fit and good quality,
with a place to put lights on.
dosn,t fit with certain big tanks,
H&B bars give more protection and cheaper
nice pics at www.gsclubuk.com.harder to fit.
i have a wunderlich skid plate no probs
more holes than touratech, sits on the center
stand easy to fit.

After much research and discussion, I put the H+B crash bars on. They provided good protection during a recent unplanned crash bar test. The bars did great, and they saved the bike from a lot of damage. http://www.manleyadventures.com/thum...s/DSCF0699.htm

As for the cat skid plate... is that thing worth protecting? If you put a dent in it, or even better a hole, that would be a good time to take it out of the system. But if you are required to keep it...
