Basic grease

make a substitute from

oil (fresh = better ... but if you don't have that then use what you have)

and

soap

Mix the two together ... more soap for a thicker grease.

Isn't that also a recipe for diesel fuel?

No, it is nearly a recipe for napalm. Petrol plus detergent flakes = napalm.
