I haven't had any problems with my Limelight 2P | Marmot.com
It can pitch without the fly if it's hot and is just about free-standing apart from the little porch bit which needs one peg. It's an airy tent, tall enough for me to sit up in and packs small and light. Quick to pitch and ample room for a roll mat and all my gear (boots stay in the porch) |
I got a Salewa Denali II (2011 model - was lucky to find one which is darker green than the new models), which I was using this year. With my 6'3" it's a bit smallish on the long side, but for "smaller" people it would be ok.
The pack size is 45x20x10 .... Casper |
Vango Omega 250 Two Man tent
Bought this tent in the UK last year and toured in UK and France.
It's quick and easy for one person to erect (not free standing), has a roomy, two-door vestibule (easily holds two opened panniers or four closed ones plus helmets), inner sleeps two easily (measurements below in cm) and was water tight, even over two nights torrential rain. Inner/outer can pitch as 'one'. It's not especially light at 4Kg but pole/pack length is short enough to put across the pillion or on the top box. Good value at well under £200. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/...nd%20DL650.jpg https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/...0%20inside.jpg https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/...on%20DL650.jpg https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/...mega%20250.jpg |
