Altberg Hogg All Weather Microlite Boots
Hi,
The Altberg Hoggs get many positive reviews on here, but has anyone experience of the Hogg All Weather Microlite? If so grateful for your review of them. Thank you in advance. Ian. |
Rode up to Richmond back in 2011 before my London -> Mongolia trip, got a pair fitted, still have them, in addition to that trip used them for 18 months around south, central and north america as well on another trip.
Got my moneys worth out of them. I still have them, although I have neglected them and they are a bit worse for wear now. They are waterproof and very durable and give good protection. On the downside they are heavy and you dont get alot of feel for the gear lever or the brake pedal. Quality Boot. |
Thank you.

I was wondering about them as a second pair to take for days when I'm walking round with maybe just a bit of light local riding, but I thought they might be a bit too bulky to pack.

With the Altbergs, your Riding boot is your Walking boot.

I wear mine daily to work, i'm on my second pair since 2010. Though the first pair are still serviceable.
I walk in them (including the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu), and I ride and tour in them. They're warm, comfortable and waterproof. Recommended. |
