Boots for women
So my wife is looking for proper boots for dual-sporting/adventuring. I have a pair of Sidi Discovery which do not come in her size (39-40), nor do the Aerostitch Combat boots. It would be nice to get something that give a balance of support, but comfortable enough to walk about.
Any suggestion? ~CW |
Oxtar. They have changed the name to TCX. In your home state:

I'd recommend Alpinestars Tech 3's - they come with either a smooth or 'all-terrain' sole in black, and are very comfy on and off the bike - a bit like A'stars Vectors, but with a more rigid shin plate.
If you are not so bothered about full shin protection, I can also recommend their Tech 2, which is a shortie verson (2 buckle) of the Tech 3 - billed as a 'freestyle' boot (for nutters on pit-bikes) they are actually great for touring and much nicer to walk in than a full hight motocross/dual-sport type boot. I have both and they are excellent quality and value. xxx |
