Anyone any expirience of these lighwight clog thingies ?
I was having a look at a pair as off bike foot wear very light but not sure how tough they are plus they look a little weird.:confused1:

if you mean the ones that can be worn with the strap forward like a slip on, or the strap behind the ankle to hold em on....brilliant!

colours are a bit bright! they make your feet a little whiffy cos they are plastic but the good thing is they are easily washable and so are feet.....

Absolutely brilliant. I was slipping around in flip flops at the Riply HU camp site looking with envy at those with the thicker soled crocs whose feet weren't covered in mud. I've now got three pairs, proper crocs which cost about £30 and two imitation versions which cost £10 and £5 respectively. Apart from the logo there's little to choose between them.

They are extremely strong and hard wearing. One of my pairs has seen the equivalent of five months of day-in day-out wear with little to show for it. Unlike flip flops you can ride the bike in them, they are really lightweight and take up much less packing space than trainers. And if you are travelling to a muslim country you set the strap forward and can then slip your feet in and out as easy as a pair of flip flops.

Crocs are brilliant. Very lightweight for going in panniers. Easy to clean & dry. I have two pairs, one 'standard' pair, which I keep at work and and an 'offroad' pair which have more tread on the sole (although this didn't stop me slipping in the mud at HU Ripley and landing flat on my behind but luckily it happened under the cover of darkness so no one else saw this, hopefully). I've had my offroad ones for about 14 months now and I wear them every day and there is very little signs of wear & tear.

PERSONALLY if you can afford to i would buy an orginal pair. theyre made of softer material and are much more comfortable. ive had mine nearly 2 years now and wear them constantly apart fron work (no steel toe cap! he he)
youre right they look funny but theyre great shoes esp in boats and around the sea.

i echoe those views ,buy the imitation ones for a fiver from any market stall,reallt comfy ,can be washed and dryed in two minutes ,and you can get them in ktm orange... brilliant
