Help/info needed for Coleman 533
 

Hi,

I bought a new Coleman sportster but I just can't fire it up.

Firstly, there is a gap between the exit end of the generator and the entry to the burner box (box bit in the middle)

When I open the regulator, the fuel spits out the gap at the end of the generator and runs down the side of the can.

Am I missing a component to bridge the gap or is something else wrong?

Any info would help.

its been about 5yrs since i used one and dont have it anymore, but i seem to remember a gap. the fuel sprays up into the burner, i always thought it was to get a bit of air to burn better
