Swags are good for a quick free over night camp. They are not good for rainy days (waiting for the rain to stop).

Those new cots are great to to get you off the ground ,wrecked a new exped laying it on a heap of bidgees to sleep (I was slightly anebriated )

Guy's is quite small (well that's what I heard anyway) and so is his swag.

I must admit that I seriously wish I had a swag in the last month or so while touring by myself. No good for the two up stuff but I think when next I am out and about myself I will have one. My tent takes about the same amount of space as one of those biker swags (either Mr Swagman one or the Oztrail) and is only slightly lighter. Plus the setup/pack up time is a lot less that a tent (1/2 hour each way). Good way to carry much less stuff.
