Black Diamond

The said company also makes a tent similar to the Tipi called the Megamid. There are a couple different designs of it. It can be used with or without the floor.

Mudlark, an expensive tent should shelter you I hate to say this but you have gained nothing by saving weight and cost as your tent has not provided a rainproof shelter, I hope you can get it fixed up but if not I would take it back. The Moskol - Tentipi are probably the best quality in this type of tent that you can get. I have never had leaks or problems used as far North as is Possible in Europe through severe rain ,snow and gales on the edge of the Barents sea and south on the med coast in severe heat it does it all in total comfort. You pays your money and get what you pay for - so they say. (Who are THEY?)

Hello eveyone,
My first post here. I too use a Tipi style tent. I am not certain how my tent compares with the aforementioned tents of this post, I can say that I can agree with it's versitility. My tent is floorless, while a strange thought at first, is actually liberating. I can come in from a rain and not worry about gettig the floor fabrique wet. I just use a ground cloth inside the Tipi for my sleeping space. Mosquito screens are over the doors. You can see the Tent and stove at KIFARU SHELTERS AND STOVES

From the sounds of it, my setup may be a little more time consuming due to the fact there are 12 stakes involved to get the tent tightly pitched.

Tentipi Safir

I am interested in any information about the Tentipi Safir both the CP or light. The 5L and the 7L are what interests me the most. Anyone who uses one or has used I'd like to know what you think about them.
