As a foreign tourist in Costa Rica, is it allowed to buy a used moto from a dealer ?
 

As a foreign (german) tourist in Costa Rica, am I allowed to buy a used motorcycle from a dealer there? Do I get a registration and insurance and (very important) can I leave Costa Rica with the motorcycle?

I'm thinking of a used Herso or a used Pulse. Can the dealer prepare the registration and insurance before I arrive so that I don't need much time on site?

Is it true that as a foreigner without residence in PANAMA you can buy a motorcycle there but are not allowed to take it out of the country?
