Leaving moto in Costa Rica

Hi guys, I'm wondering if someone can answer a question for me hopefully from their personal experience.

I'm a few days away from San Jose, Costa Rica and I'm going to leave my bike there for around 6 weeks. Now, I'm without a doubt going to be able to go home to Canada, come back and exit Costa Rica within the 90 day TVIP so is it actually necessary for me to bring it to one of the bonded wharehouses or can I just leave it at a secure location and be okay leaving the country and coming back in 6 weeks?

A part of me just wants to pay for the bonded wharehouse so everything is hassle free when I exit costa rica and enter panama in January.

And also, are the bonded wharehouses open on the weekends?

I would love to hear about any personal experiences.

Thanks for any info, safe riding.

Just a follow up, exiting the country by plane at San Jose, there were no issues leaving the country. There was just one check with the police where they seemed just to check your name to the flight ticket. She didn't have a computer or anything so I don't see how there could be an issue leaving. The one thing that was a little puzzling is that entering the land border there is an entry stamp for 90 days, but I received no exit stamp at the airport??
