Mexico to Panama with 5 other riders leaving Tomorrow!!

I am putting the finishing touches on the motorcycle for my trip to Panama from my town of Leon, Guanajuato. I will be leaving on Tuesday, March 1st with four other Americans and one Canadian. I have no set time frame for this trip so we will see how long that it lasts.

We plan on visiting Guatamala, Belize, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Panama.

Our plan is to camp on desolate mountains and on deserted beaches, stay in hotels and visit the many ruins and amazing places along the way. Eat lots of seafood and drink a fair amount of beer, And of course meet many interesting and strange individuals.

Tent, GPS, Sleeping Pad, Hammock, camping and cooking gear, rain gear, clothes and so many other little items you tend to need on a trip like this.

I will be posting pictures and lots of other things on my personal Facebook Page and my Life Of An Adventurer Facebook page. Please like and sign up on those pages. I am really going to try to do a lot of posting so that everyone can be with me and see all of these places. My father will be right with me in spirit.

I know that this will be a life changing and difficult challange but I welcome it! If you have any suggestions as to what to see or do please let me know. If you are on the road and are near where we are maybe we can meet up.

Right now we're all taking a down day in Oaxaca MX. and will be heading further south tomorrow. Robert.

Any problems, concerns or advice south of Mexico?

I am planning much the same trip, early in the new year. how did it go?? how do i find people to ride with?

Don' t bother finding others to encumber your travel enjoyment .:rolleyes:
Be independent, go solo .


An aside , why did Life of an Adventurer bother posting the big announcement here , then never followed up with the promised travel stories and pictures ? Oh, sure off on Facebook pages , and that sort of stuff . No patience for that here I don't book , tweet , tube or whatever .. Tell us here or forget it . :rolleyes3:
