Hugo, if you'd like to know about some neat places to visit along your route, let me know. I've done this route twice. San Antonio, Texas is a bit out of your way, but one of MANY cool places to visit in Texas. There are stacks of places to visit along the Gulf coast- and plenty of great music and seafood to boot. Heck, you'll even pass through Cajun country! And search no further, you won't be needing a carnet heading south. Cheers, Hook.

Thanks mate. I didn’t mean to be rude when I said that somebody was wrong about the bloody Carnet,:oops2:
It just that when I started to do my investigation, went to google put carnet de passage and a list of all these countries that your vehicle must have one, almost every one in South America, also, the stories that bikers were turn back on the borders. So I panicked a bit and worry until I finded horizons unlimited and you guys are put me on the right path.
Not doing Chile this time (Argentina and Chile is next dream)
Last Xmas with the wife went from Chicago to Fargo,Yellowstone Park, Denver, Atlanta,New Orleans to Miami by car (Years Before the East and West coast) and may be is because I love USA but I won’t get bore Miami to Houston and to the border, I’m sure of it.
Again thanks guys for all the web pages.
Cheers Hugo :scooter:
