i plan to send my motorbike from France by ship until Veracruz (Mexico)

someone did it before?

can you tell me how is it once there in mexico? do i need a "carnet de douane"? is there taxe to pay? how much?

I live in Veracruz. Start thinking about using a shipping agent in France that has a connection with one of the bigger customs brokers in Veracruz. The TVIP permit should be interesting, I would ask at either the Mexican embassy or at a consulate. Are you going to be accompanying the bike on the vessel? Or are you entering by plane and then planning on picking up the bike? Do you speak Spanish?
