New tires in Nicaragua, Costa Rica or Panama?
 

Hello,
After riding through USA and most of Central America it's passed time I changed my bald tires. I was wondering if anyone here had some inside info on which is the cheapest and or best place to buy a new set between Rivas, Nicaragua and Panama??

depends on size, Costa Rica has best availability. There are a couple of places in Pasa Canoas that have a reasonable selection. Yamaha & moto repuestos del sur, both are close together on the road running south from the border crossing. They are on the CR side but can be easily accessed from the Panama side, just cross the road!!

it depends pretty much what kind of tires are you looking for. The small ones, mostly chinese, you will find in Nicaragua, but the bigger ones and better brands is hard to find. And Rivas is a small city, you won't find there something special. Costa Rica is a way better. Even in smaller dealerships they can order something from San Jose and it should arrive the next day.
