Other Bank Options Other Than WellsFugwits?
 

Good morning all, they are stinging us monthly fees and withdrawal fees, commissions, offshore margins and other bank fees...it is really adding up now!!

It is ridiculous so we want to look at better options if possible, any input would be great.

World bank?
 

As travelers we need a bank that minimizes the charges on

overseas ATMs
currency conversions
overseas card use

and has a good secure internet interface.

Unfortunately most banks are country specific.

I'm looking at the moment .. ING.au has 2.5% on currency conversion, ~$2.50 on overseas ATM + local charges ... but fee free otherwise.

Establishing a bank account overseas is possible but ... Not investigated places like the Isle of Man tax havens ...
