As I learly stated, the FMM is available at the border. Literally.

But, I wasnt taking because I didnt see the question. Sorry.

When we crossed I had to pay at the "bank" immediately across the road, but that may have chaneged since wheb we crossed into Baja this time the imegration officer took the cash.

As an aside, talk on amotorhome forum recently that Lukeville Mexico customs have been very zealkus about taking any foodstuffs that isnt on the allowed list. As usual it may have been just on rver lost a few steaks so is spreading nasty rumours

Well I thought I was all set till Tony threw in the recommendation to get the FMM at the border. Wasn't sure why. Anyway, thanks again for your time and efforts. Our winter motorcycle travels away from home (Alaska) have been a bit of a practice in letting go of my tendency to want to over plan. As you can see I am struggling with that. Wish me luck!
