Shipping from Cartagena(Colombia) to Panama
 

Where should we ship to from Cartagena. El Porvenir on the mainland in Panama near the San Blas archipelago seems like a nice place but are there custumoffice and immigration there? Or to Colon, not a nice place but has the facilities(right?) From the shipping info on this site it seems important to be dropped of at the custumsoffice. Who has done this or has the info,

I shipped from Colon to Cartegena at the start of July but it was a case of going where the yacht captain was going and Cartegena is the obvious choice. Colon is not very nice but you can quickly move on! The dock at Colon is convenient for unloading the bike too.

The customs house in Colon seemed quite efficient for exiting Panama - more than the DIAN office when we arrived in Cartegena!
