Want to buy a bike in Mexico
 

Hey guys! New here....living in Cozumel and playa del Carmen. I would like to buy a bike and travel through central America. I was looking at Kawasaki klr 650...... I anyone has something similar I would also be interested in those as well. Thank you !!

Shoot guys! I ended up buying a little 125 Honda rx...... I'm wondering whether this was unrealistic and foolish or whether it might survive the journey :s I guess either way it'll be an adventure haha. Thanks for the replies though.... I'd love to meet up for drinks if you guys are still kicking it in playa and wherever along the way!

Just remember it is far more likely to be stolen than most bikes, and easy to steal.
You've got about 10hp and that will be about 7hp at upper elevations.

Do a search for Tales from the Saddle if Nick doesn´t prove you can do it on a 125 and inspire you nothing will.

I guess I'll have to buy a chain then a be extra careful where I leave it.
