Inmarsat IsatPhone 2. Free text messages
 

Hello to all,
For years I have used Inmarsat for communicating whilst on the road !.

Recently I purchased an "IsatPhone 2" which is superb.

Just wanted to tell other IsatPhone 2 users that free SMS text messages can now be sent to the phone from any computer/smartphone through: Global Satellite Internet & Phone - Ground Control International.

I have tried this and it works perfectly.

I had a similar experience with another company using the iSatPhone 2
Mobil Satellite Technologies was very helpful and gave me the best price

The free text service is one of the reasons I went with isatphone2 also...however Iridium have pretty much stolen the show in terms of data now, Inmarsat is terribly slow over the isatphone for any kind of data :(
