Well, took the advice from here and went out and bought a couple of leads and some components ... going to wire them both into a small box that should sit nicely next to the autocom - splice the power leads both into the same circuit and Bob's your mother's brother.

Hopefully should get around to fitting them on Saturday ... will post pics as and when.
